Job Overview:
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Simbyone, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with our talented, distributed team. You’ll be instrumental in designing and building scalable solutions that meet client needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP, Laravel, and other related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely to design and implement solutions that meet business objectives and client requirements.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services for seamless data exchange.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and Laravel’s development standards.
- Manage and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring efficient queries, data modeling, and proper indexing.
- Mentor junior developers remotely, offering guidance and fostering a culture of growth and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain system reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with PHP and Laravel advancements, implementing the latest features and technologies to enhance applications.
- Work within an Agile development environment, ensuring timely delivery of features and iterative improvements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in PHP development with strong expertise in Laravel.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React).
- Strong experience in database management, specifically with MySQL.
- Proficient in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
- Solid understanding of Agile development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Laravel Horizon, Laravel Forge, or Laravel Vapor.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience in developing highly scalable applications.
- Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) in PHP.
